This workshop explores the movement biases inherent in a yoga-centric practice and offers practical strategies to build strength, mobility, and balance. Through discussion and movement, participants will examine areas often underemphasized in yoga, such as hamstring strengthening, upper body pulling, spinal flexion, and hip internal rotation. Teachers will learn how to integrate time under tension, repetition, and progressive scaling into their classes, as well as how to encourage students to diversify their movement practices beyond yoga for long-term resilience and strength.
